In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, occupation troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred a Kashmiri youth in Kulgam district on Tuesday.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the youth was martyred during a cordon and search operation in Hoowra area of the district.

All Parties Hurriyat Conference Vice Chairman, Ghulam Ahmed Gulzar, in a statement in Srinagar said that the Hindutva regime led by Narendra Modi has turned Jammu and Kashmir into a land of widows and orphans.

Other Hurriyat leaders including Syed Bashir Andrabi, Khawaja Firdous and Farida Bahenji, said the blasphemous acts of Indian soldiers like forcing Kashmiris to chant “Jai Shri Ram” in mosques have become new policy of the fascist Hindutva regime in the territory.

On the other hand, the mother of illegally detained APHC leader Merajuddin Nanda, passed away in Srinagar, last night. She has been languishing in Agra jail in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh for the past many years.

Kashmiri diaspora in the UK launched the ‘Free Kashmiri Political Prisoners’ campaign at an event in Birmingham, the other day.

Tehreek-e-Kashmir, UK, unveiled various programmes to this effect. Speakers at another event in Oldham denounced the Biden-Modi statement for ignoring Indian state terrorism in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, and maintaining silence on the Kashmiris’ right to self-determination.

They termed the joint declaration as reflection of mala fide intent.

Senior Kashmiri journalists have vowed to become the voice of Kashmiris at a time when the media in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir is totally chocked by Indian government and is disallowed to report ground realities.
