The people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir are living under constant fear due to the unrelenting massive cordon and search operations by Indian forces’ personnel across the territory.

According to Kashmir Media Service, an atmosphere of fear prevails in Srinagar, Kupwara, Baramulla, Ganderbal, Bandipore, Islamabad, Shopian, Pulwama, Kulgam, Poonch, Rajouri, Samba and Kathua districts where the personnel of Indian Army, Central Reserve Police Force and Special Operations Group of Indian police lay siege, raid houses and carry out searches every now and then.

Indian forces’ personnel during violent operations in a week have martyred at least nine persons and arrested dozens others on fake charges. Many of those arrested have been booked under draconian laws.

Meanwhile, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Vice Chairman, Ghulam Ahmed Gulzar said India has turned occupied Kashmir into an abattoir where Indian troops are spilling the blood of innocent Kashmiris with impunity.

The daily-wage employees of the Power Development Department held a strong protest demonstration in Rajouri town in favour of their demands like release of their pending salary. They chanted slogans against the administration.
