The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has lashed out at the Hindutva-led Indian regime for prolonging illegal detention of Hurriyat leaders and activists in jails, on one pretext or another.

In a statement in Srinagar, the APHC spokesman said the way the Kashmiri political prisoners, the prisoners of conscience, are treated in Indian jails has no parallel in the human history.

He urged the UN Council for Human Rights, Amnesty International, Asia Watch and International Committee of the Red Cross to witness the conditions of illegally Hurriyat leaders and activists’ languishing in Indian jails.
