Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has directed authorities concerned to simplify and expedite the verification process for applicants seeking Spanish Resident Card.
He issued the instructions while co-chairing a meeting in Islamabad with Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Chaudhry Salik Hussain regarding the Spanish Resident Card in Islamabad today.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to Spain, Dr. Zahoor Ahmed, gave a detailed briefing on the Spanish Resident Card. It was clarified that this policy does not apply to individuals seeking political asylum.
Chaudhry Salik Hussain welcomed the development, saying that granting legal status to thousands of Pakistanis is a positive step.
