
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed Pakistan’s full solidarity and support with the brotherly nations of Qatar and Saudi Arabia in the wake of the current regional crisis.
During a telephone conversation with the Amir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Prime Minister strongly condemned the serious regional escalation triggered by the Israeli attack on Iran, followed by regrettable attacks on Qatar and other Gulf countries. He assured the Qatari leadership that Pakistan would always stand shoulder to shoulder with the brotherly people of Qatar and play a positive role in promoting peace and stability in the region.
In a separate telephonic conversation with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, the Prime Minister reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Saudi leadership. He emphasized that Pakistan stands with its Saudi brothers and sisters at all times and under all circumstances.
Shehbaz Sharif expressed Pakistan’s readiness to play a constructive role in easing tensions and fostering regional peace. He also prayed that the blessings of the holy month of Ramadan bring calm and stability to the region at the earliest.
Earlier, in a post on the social media platform X, the Prime Minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries during this perilous time, underscoring the country’s commitment to peace and regional harmony.
