
Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, says the government will continue extending full cooperation for the welfare of journalists, and the resolution of media-related issues.
He was talking to newly-elected President of the National Press Club, Abdul Razaq Sial and Secretary Dr. Furqan Rao, who called on him in Islamabad today.
The Information Minister said the National Press Club plays an important role in addressing the problems of the journalist community and promoting professional values.
He emphasized that the National Press Club is a strong voice for journalists and contributes significantly to their welfare.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on housing quota, the grant received by the National Press Club under the Public Sector Development Programme, and health insurance.
Attaullah Tarar issued necessary instructions regarding the grant for the construction of the National Press Club building under PSDP.
