Governor Punjab, Sardar Saleem Haider Khan, stated that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) plays a vital role in public service, promoting democratic values, and contributing to the country’s economic betterment. He emphasized that providing relief to the public remains the party’s top priority, even during challenging times.
He was speaking to the media during a visit to Chen House, Bhera. Upon his arrival, he was warmly received by PPP Central Secretary Information, Chaudhry Nadeem Afzal Chan. Also present were organizational leaders of PPP from Tehsil Bhera and Bhalwal, including Chaudhry Azhar Mehmood Gondal, Advocate and spokesperson of Chen House, Malik Intisam Bilal Chaudhry, Tariq Amir Arain, Chaudhry Muhammad Ishaq, Chaudhry Abdul Ghafoor Kahoot, and Rana Muhammad Bilal.
During the meeting at Chen House, the Governor instructed party officials to ensure public service in accordance with the ideology of Bhuttoism and to actively strengthen the party at the grassroots level. He stated that PPP is the true representative of the poor and middle class, consistently fighting for the rights of the people throughout history.
He added that addressing the country’s economic challenges requires the cooperation of all institutions, and PPP is playing a positive and constructive role to provide maximum relief to the public.
After a brief stay at Chen House, Governor Punjab proceeded to Darbar Kalas Sharif, where he was received by Pir Shamim Sabir Sabri. During his visit, he also discussed regional affairs and public issues.
