The Pakistani government has released 20 Indian fishermen imprisoned in Karachi for the last five years from Malir Jail this morning and sent them to Lahore on Monday afternoon.

According to Muhammad Arshad, superintendent of Malir District Jail, Landhi, 20 Indian fishermen have been handed over to the court police and the management of Edhi Foundation.

According to Faisal Edhi, head of the Edhi Foundation, the Edhi Foundation is paying all the travel expenses for transporting 20 fishermen to the Wagah border in Lahore.

According to the spokesperson, the Edhi Foundation has sent the fishermen to Lahore by a special bus. A team of jail police will also accompany the fishermen in the bus.

Apart from the travel expenses of the fishermen, the amount of expenses and some gifts have also been given.
