In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred one more youth in Kupwara district on Monday.
The youth was martyred by the troops during a cordon and search operation in Keran area of the district.
The troops arrested two innocent youth in Shopian district.
They were arrested during a military raid jointly launched by Indian Army, police and paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force in Kellar area of the district.
Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Political Resistance Movement at a meeting held in Srinagar, today, strongly condemned the killings, arrests, house raids and other human rights violations in the occupied territory.
The meeting presided over by party Chairman Jameel Ahmad urged the United Nations, European Union, Organization of Islamic Cooperation and world major powers including the US and China to come forward and resolve the Kashmir dispute to save the territory from Hindutva onslaught unleashed by the Modi regime.
APHC leader Bashir Ahmed Butt in a statement said that shameful defeat is destiny of Hindutva forces in occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He said the fascist Indian regime has failed to subdue the Kashmiris despite use of every brutal tactic in the territory.
On the other hand, incarcerated senior APHC leader and renowned Islamic scholar Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has been listed among the 500 most influential Muslim personalities of the world.
The list was released by the Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre based in Jordan.
