Pakistan and Iraq have reiterated to further enhance and strengthen bilateral trade and economic relations between both the countries.

This was affirmed at a meeting between Ambassador of Iraq to Pakistan Hamid Abbas Lafta and a delegation of Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry led by its President Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari in Islamabad.

Speaking on the occasion, the Iraqi Ambassador said that through initiation of trade through Gwadar and Basra seaports, relations between the two countries would reach to new heights.
