Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has once again appealed the nation especially the affluent ones to actively donate to the Prime Minister’s relief fund for Gaza and Lebanon.

Chairing a review meeting in Islamabad regarding aid being sent by Pakistan to Gaza and Lebanon, he said the people including overseas Pakistanis should support the government in helping Palestinian and Lebanese brothers and sisters by depositing donations in IBAN:PK11SBPD0000001111114292.

Shehbaz Sharif instructed to conduct a full awareness campaign regarding the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund for Gaza and Lebanon.

The Prime Minister directed to immediately send two planes of humanitarian aid to Lebanon and Gaza. He said apart from air, relief goods should be sent by trucks.

Directing to accelerate the transportation of humanitarian aid, Shehbaz Sharif emphasized ensuring the aid reaches the deserving ones.

The meeting was informed that Pakistan is sending tents, clothes, blankets, medicines and food items to people affected by Israeli aggression in Gaza and Lebanon.

It was informed that due to Israeli attacks and blockades, there are difficulties in delivering aid supplies to the affected areas in Palestine and Lebanon.

The meeting was informed that the NGOs who want to send relief goods for the victims of Gaza and Lebanon will be facilitated by the government.
