hief Minister of Punjab, Pakistan, Ms. Maryam Nawaz Sharif, arrived in Antalya today to participate in the prestigious Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF 2025), being held under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and organized by Turkey’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The visit comes at the invitation of the First Lady of Turkey, Ms. Emine Erdoğan, marking a significant step in strengthening people-to-people and diplomatic ties between Pakistan and Turkey.

Upon her arrival at Antalya International Airport, the Chief Minister was warmly received by Deputy Governor of Antalya, Dr. Suat Setuğlu, along with senior Turkish officials and representatives of the Pakistani diplomatic mission in Turkey.

Ms. Maryam Nawaz Sharif is scheduled to address the forum on April 12, where she will present Pakistan’s perspective on regional cooperation, inclusive development, and the importance of diplomatic dialogue in an increasingly polarized world.

The fourth edition of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, taking place from April 11 to 13, is being held under the central theme: “Restoring Diplomacy in a Fractured World.” The event brings together world leaders, foreign ministers, policymakers, academics, business leaders, media professionals, and civil society representatives from across the globe for high-level discussions on global peace, conflict resolution, climate diplomacy, economic resilience, and multilateral cooperation.

The Chief Minister’s participation underscores Pakistan’s continued commitment to active engagement in global diplomatic discourse and highlights Punjab’s evolving role in international partnerships.
