Chief of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces, Vice Admiral Mohammed Bin Abdulrahman Al Ghoraibi has lauded Pakistan Navy’s efforts for strengthening maritime security in the region.

He expressed these views during a meeting with Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf at Navel Headquarters in Islamabad on Tuesday.

The two sides exchanged view on the bilateral cooperation, regional security situation and matters of bilateral interest.

The Naval Chief highlighted Pakistan Navy’s initiatives for ensuring regional peace and stability through Regional Maritime Security Patrols.

In his remarks, the Chief of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces commended Pakistan Navy for imparting quality training to cadets of Royal Saudi Naval Forces at Pakistan Naval Academy.

Both sides reiterated to further strengthen the entire gamut of existing bilateral defence relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

The visit of Chief of the Naval Staff of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces will further enhance bilateral defence collaboration between the two countries.

Earlier upon arrival at the Navel Headquarters, the Chief of Royal Saudi Naval Forces was presented Guard of Honour by a smartly turned out  contingent of Pakistan Navy.
