Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has ordered a crackdown on transporters charging fares higher than the prescribed rates during Eid.
In a directive issued today, she instructed the authorities to take strict action against those overcharging passengers and to ensure implementation of official fares across all districts.
