Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have reaffirmed the resolve to further strengthen their defence relations.

The understanding was reached during a meeting of Chief of General Staff of Saudi Armed Forces, General Fayyadh bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili with Chief of Staff Vice Admiral Naveed Ashraf at Naval Headquarters, Islamabad.

Matters of mutual interest including bilateral collaboration and regional security were also discussed during the meeting.

The visiting dignitary appreciated and acknowledged Pakistan Navy’s efforts and commitments in support of collaborative maritime security in the region.

Both dignitaries appreciated the successful conduct of Pakistan Navy exercise Naseem Al Bahr-XIV held recently at Al Jubail.
